Return & Exchange Policy

Contact Us First:

Before sending back any item(s), please reach out to us at kimberly@capablebydesign.com within 7 business days of receiving your items. We're here to help!

General Return Guidelines:

  • Timing: Returns must be initiated within 7 business days of arrival; for credit or exchange, within 14 business days max.
  • Condition: Items must be unused and unworn for returns and exchanges.
  • Final Sale Items: Sale items and personalized piecesĀ cannot be returned or exchanged.

Refunds:

  • Processing Time: Allow 7-10 business days for refund processing.
  • Restocking Fee: A $10.00 restocking fee applies if the return is not due to our fault.
  • Amount: Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment, excluding shipping costs and any additional fees.

Exchanges & Incorrect Sizing:

If the sizing isn't quite right, you can mail back an unworn or unused item. We'll send an invoice for new shipping charges, and once paid, we'll send the correct size.

Shipping Your Return:

  • Customer Responsibility: You're responsible for return shipping costs, but we can email a return label upon payment of a shipping invoice.
  • Method: We suggest USPS First Class or Priority Mail with tracking and insurance.
  • Lost or Damaged Items: We can't be responsible for lost or damaged return items, so please consider adding insurance.

Etsy Purchases:

Please handle Etsy purchases via Etsy.

Damages and Issues:

Found a defect or received the wrong item? Contact us right away, and we'll make it right!

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

Special orders and personalized items are non-returnable. If you have questions about a specific item, we're here for you!

Refunds Process:

Once we've inspected your return, we'll notify you of the approval status. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please be patient with your bank or card company's processing time.

Credits:

Credits are valid for the refund amount (excluding shipping) and can only be used at capablebydesign.com.
